It looks like another depressing Friday in store. There are three films on the slate and distributors are already in the doldrums. The films are Sadiyaan, Tum Milo Toh Sahi and The Great Indian Butterfly.

“We do not have any expectations from The Great Indian Butterfly as the promos themselves are dull. Sadiyaan and Tum Milo Toh Sahi have ‘face value’ but audiences will want a good storyline,” says Vinay Choksey of VIP Movies.

Sanjay Ghai of Mukta Arts calls it Friday formalities”. “The three films are releasing as a matter of formality.” But there’s hope from Hollywood. “Clash Of The Titans will do good business,” predicts Ghai.

Sunil Bansal of Yash Raj Jai Pictures differs with his colleagues. “Tum Milo Toh Sahi should get a decent opening whereas Sadiyaan should do good business as the film has got star value. No expectations from The Great Indian Butterfly.” He adds that Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, still going strong in its fourth week, has good reports.

Sadiyaan’s strong cast is stirring interest and Surendra Saluja of Lakshya Movies says, “It should do well at the box office but you never know how audiences will react.”

Sarang Chandak of Shri Rang Films says a resounding “no expectations” from the three upcoming releases but takes hope from Clash Of The Titans, “which should do decent business compared to the other releases.”
